OUR HISTORY:

Real Estate Attorney

Kevin Salisbury

I am thrilled each and every day that I get to help people with the most significant purchase, for most of them, that they will EVER make in their lives. I love figuring out a way to overcome obstacles to closing and getting the deal finished so that everyone can begin a new chapter in their lives. I love the satisfaction in a job well done, and to get folks in and out of a closing in a fast, but thorough, manner. I enjoy working with real estate. My father was a builder/developer, and I was cleaning debris out of his houses that were under construction, for him when I was in high school. I have always loved real estate, both personally and professionally. Being a closing attorney was merely an extension of something my dad started.

I have been married to Holly, the love of my life, since July 1995. We met in March 3, 1991, and started dating and have been together since. We have three wonderful kids, an over-achieving, perfectionist boy, age 21, my people-pleasing middle child daughter, age 16, and my fly-by-the-seat-of-her-pants, free-spirit daughter, age 14. They attend school in Georgia, are the SMARTEST and most WELL ROUNDED kids that I have ever HEARD of, and make their mom and dad very proud! My son attends UGA, my oldest daughter cheers for her high school, and my youngest is a basketball player.

I attend my kids sporting events, but don’t coach them. I enjoy playing tennis but am not very good. I regularly get shellacked by players that are 150 years old, but rarely by those younger than me. In fact, my most recent team went to the City Championships and WON, no thanks to me since I didn’t play one time. But I DID get the big plate signifying that I am a champion. It is all about the plate, right?

My wife and I enjoy going on walks together and holding hands.

I am 2017-2018 President of the Cumming Kiwanis, an organization dedicated to helping kids in our local communities and making kids understand that they can make a difference in the world. Kiwanis does this through organizations such as the Builders Club, for middle school aged children, Key Clubs in the High Schools, and Action Klub for adults with disabilities.

I am a member of the Lanier Forsyth Rotary Club and am involved in helping charities in Forsyth County reach their potential through this worldwide organization.

I attend Browns Bridge Church in Forsyth County, and am a volunteer in KidStuf, a monthly meeting wherein parents and kids learn together about God’s Big Ideas! The mission of KidStuf is “to motivate and equip parents to lead their kids spiritually because what happens at home is more important than what happens at church.” I also lead a middle school boys group as a Small Group leader each week. In this, we are able to help parents and assist middle schoolers with their growth, both spiritually and otherwise as they navigate the middle school years.

II am a member in good standing with The Forsyth Network for Business Professionals!
